Annually ranked by Golf Digest as one of the best places to play, with special notation as having a "country club setting". Originally opened in 1972 as Casper Creek, Orgill Park was designed by Press Maxwell and built by the Memphis Park Commission for Shelby County.

It is maintained by the Shelby County Conservation Board, Mike Laird serves as the head PGA professional (A1).
